Teresa, a deeply religious woman from a poor district of Kyiv, loses trust in her only son Luka after a dramatic drug incident sends him to the hospital. Desperate, she places him in a closed religious rehabilitation center, where the strict rule of “Ora et Labora” quickly turns therapy into a brutal fight for survival.
When Luka realizes the place resembles a prison more than a refuge, and his only friend is beaten to death by the guards, he reaches out to his mother, begging for help. But Teresa refuses.
A dark and powerful story about faith, guilt, and the limits of a mother’s love.
